I was given this book to read for free in exchange for my honest opinion. All my opinions on this  review are my own.

Now that is said, I want to say that I am thrilled that the author, Teena Raffa-Mulligan let me read and write a review for this book. The story is something that I can relate to and it has such a great and comfortable flow to it.

I try to always pre-read our little girls' books before she does to see what all the story is about unless it is little little children's books, then I do not, we are very conscious of what our child reads and watches, we want her to take in substantial media that helps in her development as a person while still having fun as a child without all the garbage that is put out there today.

This book Catnapped is fun, inventive, heart warming and just all in all a wonderful read.
As I said I can relate to the girl Jenna and her Nanna when it comes to loving animals and wanting to help them and how hard it is to turn one away. When I read it again with our little girl who is 5 by the way, I got tickled at how she kept giggling when I would read the descriptions of the animals.

There was one animal in particular who caught her attention well and that was Oscar the cat. He was a big fat old cat who liked to lay around and be petted. Now we have a 35lb. tiger striped cat named Zeus who she said was just like Oscar which made her laugh.

Catnapped kept her attention all the way to the end with it's humorous illustrations and wonderful writing. All the characters intertwined well to make a very interesting story. I also believe it had a good message about having compassion about wanting to take care of helpless animals and also sharing in your good fortune. Not to mention showing you what could happen for making bad choices but in a way a child can understand.

As I said in an earlier review I do not like to tell to much about a story because it ruins it for others who will read the book. I never like it when people tell me all about it or how it ends. It spoils the fun of READING!

Here is a link where you can go to find Catnapped and also go check out their facebook page as well.
