Wonderful Reading!

Our little girl is 6yr. old and is learning to read and this book My Monster On Top Of The Bed was written to where young children like herself can sound words out and enjoy reading on their own.

This book is just so wonderfully written and made. It captivated her while she and I were reading together and gave many times of giggling fun. The illustrations were so cute and heart warming that she kept saying, "Ahhhhhh how cute or uh oh what is that?"

To give you just a small peek at what the story is about without giving it all away.

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Suzy, who used to jump up and down on her bed having just a great time. This scared a young critter named Karrit who lived under Suzy’s bed. But, Karrit heard Suzy do all sorts of nice things for people, and he wanted her to be his friend.

My Monster On Top Of The Bed has a little twist to it and has a good moral lesson as well. I really enjoy how the Author of this book made it to where your child can make up their own version of what they think the story should be. It gave our little girl the chance to use her imagination and boy howdy does she have one and for her to be as creative as she wants to be.

Not only is this book a wonderful tool in helping your child use their minds in fun filled creative ways it also helps them not to be afraid of the imaginary monsters that every child seems to have from time to time.

Natalie (our little girl) has had every kind of imaginary monster you can think of. The ones in the closet, under the bed, in the bath tub and the little ones that are even invisible to her but she says she knows that they are there. 

After reading this and having so much fun with making her own version up and seeing that not everything may be what it seems she is not getting up at 2 am and saying there is a little monster in her bed trying to nibble her toes( he is known as the NIBBLER).
